Things that must not fall off the wall. We locate studs or use the correct fixing for brick, plasterboard or masonry, and tell you when a wall or bracket is not suitable for what you have bought.

What the job usually includes

  • TV wall mounting with cable tidying where practical
  • Shelving, floating shelves and wall brackets
  • Mirrors, artwork and heavy picture hanging
  • Blinds, curtain rods and tracks
  • Flat-pack furniture assembly and securing to walls
  • Handrails and grab rails fixed into suitable structure

Not included

  • • New electrical outlets, in-wall power or data cabling
  • • Certification of grab rails for clinical or regulated care requirements
  • • Fixing into walls where no safe load-bearing structure exists
  • • Supply of brackets, fixings or the item itself unless quoted

What affects the price

  • Wall type: plasterboard, timber stud, brick or concrete
  • Weight and size of the item, and whether two people are needed
  • Number of items on the same visit
  • Whether cable concealment or extra fixings are required

Photos help. Helpful photos: the wall and the space around it, plus a photo of the bracket or product box so we can check the fixings.

When more information is needed. Most mounting work is quotable from photos. An assessment is useful for very heavy items, unusual walls or several rooms at once.

Yes, with the correct masonry fixings. Tell us the wall type if you know it, or send a photo, so we bring the right anchors.

Can I supply my own bracket?

Yes. We are responsible for our installation workmanship, not for a supplied product's inherent suitability or defects.
