TV wall mounting
A TV on the wall has to be level, at a comfortable height and fixed into something that will hold it. We find the studs or use the right masonry fixings, mount your bracket and hang the TV so it sits straight.

What the job usually includes
- Mounting fixed, tilting or swing-arm brackets
- Fixing into timber studs, brick or concrete with suitable fixings
- Levelling the TV and checking the bracket is secure
- Moving a TV from one wall to another, and patching the old holes when quoted
- Tidying visible cables with surface cable covers where practical
Not included
- • New power points or moving power points behind the TV (this needs a licensed electrician)
- • Running power cables inside the wall
- • Antenna, satellite or data cabling
- • Structural changes to walls
What affects the price
- TV size and weight, and whether two people are needed to lift it
- Wall type: plasterboard, timber stud, brick or concrete
- Bracket type, especially swing-arm brackets
- Whether cable covers or patching of old holes are needed

Running power inside the wall or adding a power point behind the TV is electrical work for a licensed electrician. We can tidy visible cables with surface covers.
Do I need to buy the bracket?
You can supply your own bracket. Tell us the TV size and wall type when you call so we can check it suits.
