How much do plaster and wall repairs cost?
Labour starts from $99, including GST. Parts and materials are additional unless stated otherwise. Pricing can be affected by the number, size and depth of the repairs, whether the damage is on a flat wall, corner, cornice or ceiling, the setting coats needed before paint, and whether painting and colour matching are included. A starting price is not a fixed quote; the accepted quote sets the scope.
Can you fix a hole left by a door handle or removed TV bracket?
Yes. Small to medium holes, including door-handle holes and holes left by removed shelves, TV brackets and fittings, are patched, set and sanded ready for paint.
Will the patch be invisible?
A well-set patch can be flat and blend in texture. Paint is the harder part: aged paint fades, so a spot-painted patch may still show in some light. An invisible colour match on aged or faded paint is not guaranteed, and we will explain this before starting.
Can you repair cracks in plaster?
Crack repair and re-setting of joints and cornice gaps are included. Where cracking keeps coming back, appears structural or the wall is damp, the cause needs to be understood first, and fixing that cause is outside this service.
Do you paint after patching?
Painting and touch-ups can be included in the quote. Colour matching is charged separately when the existing colour is unknown. See painting and touch-ups.
