When more information is needed. Small hardware and timber repairs can often be estimated from photos. Rot that may extend into the wall, or a full window replacement, usually needs more information first.

How much do window repairs cost?
Labour starts from $129, including GST. Parts and materials are additional unless stated otherwise. Pricing can be affected by how far rot extends into the frame, whether matching timber profiles or hardware are available, painting after the repair, and height and access to the window. A starting price is not a fixed quote; the accepted quote sets the scope.
Can a rotten window sill be repaired?
A localised rotten section may be cut out and repaired where the surrounding timber remains suitable. If the rot has spread through the frame or may extend into the wall, more information is needed first, and we will tell you if a window is past repair.
Can you fix a window that sticks or won't lock?
Easing sticking windows and replacing worn catches or winders is included, where matching hardware is available.
Can you replace broken glass?
No. Broken glass needs a glazier. We can repair the timber frame and repaint once the glass is done.
Can you replace a whole window?
Replacing a window unit is possible where it suits the existing opening and is quoted. Structural changes to openings, double-glazing upgrades, custom window manufacture and work needing scaffolding are not included.
